Clarifier adalah alat/tempat untuk menjernihkan air baku yang keruh (mis: air sungai, air tanah) dengan cara melakukan pengendapan.

Dibutuhkan alat-alat penunjang clarifier agar proses pengendapan mendapatkan hasil seperti yang diharapkan, alat-alat penunjang yang lazim digunakan adalah:
1. Dosing pump yang berfungsi untuk inject chemical (koagulan,flokulan khlorin dll), untuk besaran flow rate dosing pump seyogyanya dihitung berdasarkan kapasitas pompa yang dibutuhkan dengan batas minimal 0,1-1% (mis: Flow air yang diinginkan 2000 liter/jam maka dosing pump yang ideal mempunyai kapasitas maksimal 2 liter – 20 liter/jam
2. Mixing Tank yang berfungsi sebagai tanki buffer untuk memastikan chemical teraduk sempurna dan homogen dengan air, sehingga proses kimiawi yang dihasilkan bisa optimal
3. Sediment Pond yang berfungsi kolam untuk mengendapkan lumpur atau padatan yang telah terbentuk di clarifier tetapi belum sempat mengendap dengan sempurna, sediment pond juga bisa meringankan kerja Sand Filter sehingga tidak sering mampat
4. Bag Filter 20 micron, yang diperlukan jika karakter air baku tidak bisa merespon proses koagulasi dan flokulasi dengan cepat sehingga masih tersisa flok flok halus yang tidak bisa terendap sempurna walaupun sudah melewati proses dalam sediment pont

Flokulan dan koagulan yang lazim dipakai adalah PAC (Poly Alumunium Chloride), Tawas dan soda ash.

Fungsi  :
Untuk mengolah air danau/ air sungai, kekeruhan, tinggi, berwarna, berbau menjadi standar air bersih

Fungsi : Untuk pembubuhan chemical polymer, PE, pH Adjustement, kaporit

1 Unit Static Mixer
Fungsi : Untuk pengadukan chemical & air baku.

1 Unit Flocculator
Fungsi : Untuk pembentukan flock – flock agar bisa di endapkan.

1 Unit Gravity Filter
Fungsi : Untuk penyaringan koloida – koloida halus yang tidak dapat di endapkan.

1 Unit Back Wash Pump
Fungsi : Untuk pencucian gravity filter.

Clarifier is a tool / place to purify cloudy raw water (eg: river water, ground water) by doing the deposition.

Clarifier support tools are needed so that the deposition process gets the results as expected, the supporting tools commonly used are:
1. The dosing pump which functions for injecting chemicals (coagulant, chlorine flocculant, etc.). For the amount of dosing pump flow rate should be calculated based on the pump capacity required with a minimum limit of 0.1-1% (eg: Desired flow of water 2000 liters / hour then the ideal dosing pump has a maximum capacity of 2 liters – 20 liters / hour)
2. Mixing Tank functions as a buffer tank to ensure the chemical is mixed perfectly and homogeneous with water, so that the chemical process produced can be optimal
3. Sediment Pond which serves as a pond to precipitate mud or solids that have been formed in the clarifier but has not had time to settle perfectly, the sediment pond can also lighten the work of the Sand Filter so that it is not often compressed
4. Bag Filter 20 microns, which is needed if the character of raw water cannot respond to the coagulation and flocculation process quickly so that there are still flocks remain which cannot be precipitated perfectly even though it has passed the process in the sediment pond

Flocculants and coagulants commonly used are PAC (Poly Aluminum Chloride), and soda ash.

Function:
To treat lake water / river water, turbidity, height, color, and smell to become the standard of clean water
